Our client is currently recruiting for a Project Manager on a staff permanent basis in their offices in Scotland (hybrid working arrangement offered). To lead the planning, execution, and delivery of offshore wind projects within our client’s portfolio. Responsible for managing the full project lifecycle from initial design and procurement phases through construction, offshore installation, and final handover ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

ROLE

The Position holder is responsible for performing a variety of office administrative duties. Successful Position holders are excellent communicators, work well in teams, and have good organizational skills. The position reports to the EUR Executive Assistant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of offshore wind projects
  • Develop project execution plans, schedules, and budgets aligned with contractual and technical requirements.
  • Oversee daily project operations, ensuring progress against scope, cost, schedule, and risk KPIs.
  • Champion safety culture, ensuring all activities comply with HSE expectations and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams to ensure technical and operational alignment.
  • Manage interfaces between all service streams during the projects.
  • Support project controls activities, forecasting, reporting, cost control, change management, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure effective quality assurance and adherence to design specifications and industry standards
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and excellent relationship management.
  • Oversee the performance of subcontractors and vendors.
  • Support contract management, including variations, claims, and commercial negotiations.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support management of project budgets, financial forecasts, and cost‑control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead risk management processes, identifying and mitigating technical, commercial, and operational risks.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, client specifications, and contractual obligations.
  • Support audits, quality reviews, and regulatory inspections as required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering subject is desirable. However, considerable experience managing projects within offshore wind would be considered.
  • Proven track record delivering complex projects
  • Strong understanding of offshore wind processes.
  • Experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams in high‑pressure, schedule‑driven environments.
  • Strong commercial awareness, contract management, and client‑facing skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Knowledge of UK and international offshore regulatory frameworks, HSE practices, and quality systems.
  • Familiarity with client or regulatory quality requirements
