Recruiting for temporary/contract roles is distinct in many ways from the process for permanent staff, and Cammach maintains close contact with a wide network of personnel to ensure we can meet fluctuating requirements from our clients.

All new Contractors will be onboarded in a highly efficient manner within required timeframes. The onboarding process for both Cammach Bryant and Client sourced personnel involves:

Employer engages Cammach

Our employer clients bring a specific role or set of roles to the Cammach recruitment consultants, via our Vacancy Submission Form or directly by telephone. We review the role and the information provided.

Role details and fact-finding

The Cammach team often follow up to establish a fuller understanding of the role and its requirements, alongside any specification for the ideal candidate — the role is added to our Jobs page.

Database review and profile matching

Our recruitment specialists utilise a bespoke candidate database to begin drawing up a longlist of potential candidates for the role(s), profile matching with the job description and person specification information.

Shortlisting potential candidates

From the database profile matching stage and knowledge of candidates’ career paths and areas of experience to date, the Cammach recruitment consultancy team are able to shortlist a selection of viable candidates.

Contacting potential candidates

At this stage, Cammach directly reaches out to shortlisted candidates, in accordance with their contact preferences, and ascertains their interest in the roles being recruited for.

Presenting shortlist to employer client

Candidates who give permission to be put forward for consideration are included in the revised shortlist for client review — Cammach will advise employers on any pertinent additional information or mitigating circumstances as required.

Interview requests

Cammach coordinates interview requests to preferred candidates, arranging dates, times and locations for interview — with digital conferencing arranged as required.

Reference / accreditation checks

At the appropriate time, Cammach will follow up with reference checks and any necessary verification of candidate qualification and professional accreditations.

Formal offer

Upon decision of preference by the employer client, Cammach will communicate a formal offer of employment to the preferred candidate and facilitate any negotiation or queries from either party.

Paperwork and documentation

Cammach’s detail-driven approach will ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation checks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Contract finalisation and onboarding

Completion and signing of employment contract can be followed up, if required, with candidate onboarding support and the process ends with a follow-up review to ensure candidate and employer satisfaction.
