Focused on addressing the need for engineering and technical personnel on both a contract and permanent staff basis for the oil industry in the North-east of Scotland, Bryant Group became one of the largest and most successful recruitment consultancies in Aberdeen.


Award-winning Aberdeen recruitment specialist, Cammach Recruitment, acquired Byrant Group

The acquisition further strengthened Cammach Recruitment’s energy sector expertise and extended the number of contracts with North Sea oil and gas operators, while also doubling the number of contractors. The move saw Bryant founder, Brenda Bryant, retire from the combined entity.

GEG Capital, an independent investment company with a diverse portfolio of cross-sector businesses acquired 100% share in Aberdeen based recruitment specialists, Cammach Bryant. The acquisition followed a period of continued growth, both locally and internationally.


Cammach Bryant strategically rebrands as 'Cammach', followed by the launch of a specialised Drilling & Wells Division

Rebranded as ‘Cammach', the move was to better reflect the capabilities and make-up of the team, whilst also respecting Cammach’s long history. This was followed by the launch of a dedicated Drilling & Wells division – part of an ambitious growth strategy.

Contract & Temporary

Recruiting for temporary/contract roles is distinct in many ways from the process for permanent staff, and Cammach maintains close contact with a wide network of personnel to ensure we can meet fluctuating requirements from our clients.

This is an area of specialism for Cammach, and we have dedicated staff in place to ensure we can support our clients on an individual basis and respond when we’re most needed.

Whether clients are looking for short term holiday cover or longer term project delivery, Cammach can find either one individual or full project teams on a PAYE or Limited Company basis — from an established network of tried and tested personnel in a variety of fields and specialisms.

Generic bulk recruitment databases may offer an abundance of candidates for permanent roles, but we believe in going further and delivering a more tailored and targeted service to our employer clients — utilising our a fully bespoke database that the Cammach team updates and maintains through networking, industry events and candidate referrals.

Cammach’s team of experienced consultants and associates go in-depth — establishing a detailed understanding of the criteria of the appointment, the key attributes and the responsibilities of the role. From this understanding, we’ll develop a bespoke process to ensure best results and value for our client.

Our executive search service spans client briefing/discovery, detailed research, candidate identification, sourcing and networking, interviews, shortlisting, references, due diligence, offer brokering and eventual candidate placement. Cammach works closely with clients to help with CV filtering, skills matching, targeted reference and experience analysis and our wider exec search services also include non-executive identification and interim management appointments.

Contractor Management

Cammach has vast experience in transitioning multiple PAYE and Limited Company Contractors, Individual Workers, complete Project Teams and an entire Specialist Agreement for a large Oil & Gas Operator, all within extremely tight deadlines.

All new Contractors will be onboarded in a highly efficient manner within required timeframes. The onboarding process for both Cammach Bryant and Client sourced personnel involves:

  • Preparing and Issuing Contract Documents, including any client specific documents
  • Return of Contract Documents
  • Contract Extensions, Variations and Terminations
  • Document and Certification Expiry
  • Agency Worker Regulation Management
  • Legislative Updates
  • Regular Communication with Agency Workers & Contractors
  • Quarterly Contractor Surgeries
  • 24- hour emergency on-call support
