Cammach Wrapped 2024 + Festive Hours
As 2024 draws to a close, we would like to thank our clients, candidates, and contractors for their continued support. We would also like to take a moment to reflect on the amazing year Cammach has had and share some of our key highlights.
In the first half of the year, we expanded our Engineering recruitment team by welcoming new talent in the form of Senior Recruitment Specialists. This included Louise Young, who joined us in January, Alastair Neil, who joined in March, and Andy Trail, who joined in June. Across all sectors – Commercial, Drilling & Wells, and Engineering – we now boast a team of recruiters with over 100 years of collective experience!
Demonstrating impressive growth since its inception, Cammach's Drilling & Wells division has become a key area of focus for the company. In July, we celebrated the promotion of Rania Wanis, formerly Senior Recruitment Specialist, to Team Lead within this division. Since joining Cammach in late 2021, Rania has played a pivotal role in the successful launch of the D&W division, working alongside Nicola Allan, who joined as a contractor in 2023 and has now accepted a permanent staff role. Together, they have been instrumental in driving the division's success – within two years, the division has grown from a small-scale operation into an established and thriving part of the business, significantly contributing to Cammach’s international growth strategy.
This year, we were also delighted to celebrate a long-service award for our Business Support Champion, Jolene Horne, who reached 5 years with Cammach in January. Jolene ensures the smooth operation of our recruitment processes, contributing to our reputation as one of Scotland’s leading recruitment agencies. Her attention to detail and organisational skills are vital in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, allowing our specialist teams to focus on what they do best — matching qualified candidates with their ideal employers, experienced contractors with specialist projects, and new talent with exciting sectors.
In April, we launched our new website, which was designed to align seamlessly with our rebranding efforts from last year, which saw us rename as 'Cammach'. With ambitious plans for future growth backed by a well-established team continuing to deliver the high standard of service Cammach is known for, our new website presents Cammach in a fresh, contemporary light, reflecting the capabilities and composition of the team.
Throughout the year, we’ve also been lucky to receive positive feedback from both clients and candidates, which can be found on the website, but here is one of our favourites from a valued client: “I have dealt with the team at Cammach for many years now, and I have always found them to be honest, insightful, and very professional, providing me with the best candidates for my roles. Fostering community spirit, we signed up to be a proud kit sponsor for Donside 2012 Football Team. In June, Cammach was also proud to support the prestigious Cherries Awards 2024 by being a Social Media sponsor for the ceremony. Our Group Recruitment Director, Iona Currie; Recruitment Manager, Louise Burton; and two of our Senior Specialists, Ashleigh Slatter and Shannon Stewart, were also able to enjoy the awards evening with clients from a diverse range of industries. Cammach is ending the year by supporting Cash for Kids by being an official drop-off point for Mission Christmas to help ensure every child wakes up to a magical Christmas morning.
