Inspection Manager

Cammach are currently recruiting for an Inspection Manager on behalf of our client based in Ellon, Aberdeenshire. The role will be on a permanent (staff) basis and offers a hybrid working arrangement.

ROLE:

The Inspection Manager will be responsible for enhancing the inspection capability within the business and the delivery of inspection services throughout the project life cycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the strategic development of the inspection capability within the organisation
• Generate new leads and manage inspection client accounts
• Provide inspection service strategy papers and updates to the company CEO
• Lead the full inspection project life cycle from ITT to award of contract, successful delivery and project close out, including all project reporting whilst ensuring the accuracy and quality of the data collected offshore
• Manage inspection department resources to ensure business development and project delivery functions are fully supported o Coordinate the creation, implementation and maintenance of all inspection standard operating procedures, supporting documentation and support internal/external audits.
• Understand and maintain awareness of the company’s current requirements, and the latest applicable, industry codes and standards including statutory rules and regulations relating to inspection.
• Supporting the business with the development of new technologies to enhance the inspection service capability.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 to 10 years’ experience (combined onshore and offshore) subsea inspection.
• Previous experience of managing inspection services within a ROV service company.
• 3.4u Underwater Inspection experience.
• Previous experience in a business development role within a relevant discipline.
• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
• Environmental training general awareness.
• Safety training general awareness.
