Cammach are currently recruiting for a Tender Manager. Based in Aberdeen, the role is on a permanent basis and offers hybrid working.

ROLE

As Tender Manager, you are responsible for the tender process from start to finish, and must ensure that the preparation, submission, and clarification of the tender is carried out effectively and within the company guidelines and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivering large scale complex tenders in an exciting and innovative market, and have a high focus on risks and opportunities to achieve the desired outcomes for the Company and our Clients       
  • Act as single point of contact for Clients to understand their key drivers and requirements which evolve over the tender lifecycle
  • Are responsible for implementation of the tender strategy to realize positive outcomes
  • Coordinate the activities of the team delivering the tender as well as ensuring functional input is delivered expediently.
  • Oversee the full tender process as the person accountable, ensuring all commercial, contractual and technical elements are in accordance with requirements
  • Coordinate meetings with Clients during clarifications rounds, follow-up on actions and negotiations
  • Ensure final agreed positions are accurately reflected in final contract drafting.

REQUIREMENTS

  • BSc or MSc degree either in a commercial or contractual, field
  • At least 5 years relevant experience within large scale tenders or projects in offshore renewables or equivalent environment.
  • Candidates should be commercially and contractually oriented with a specific focus on risk management
  • A proven ability to effectively negotiate is deemed a pre-requisite
  • Candidates will be required to demonstrate good leadership qualities in the directing of personnel in a manner which is representative of company’s values on people management
  • Positive time management skills and ability to set and meet tight deadlines
  • Skilled in articulated and written English language interactions, with a keen awareness of cultural diversity, capable of steering and collaborating with teams spread out across worldwide offices.
