Electrical Trainer

Our client is currently recruiting for an Electrical Trainer. Based in Aberdeen, the role is on a permanent, full-time basis.

ROLE

This position is to provide various electrical training and assessment services to engineers and technicians working in hazardous and industrial environments including: Hazardous Area (Ex), High Voltage, Electrical Safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for training and/or assessing delegates attending courses.
• Responsible for ensuring that the information provided to the candidate is accurate.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant electrical background
• Knowledge and experience of hazardous environments & Ex equipment
• Knowledge and experience of high voltage equipment

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• Assessor qualification
• CompEx Ex01-Ex04 qualification or equivalent
• Electrical trainer/assessor experience
• Proficient in new course development
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Competencies and Behaviours required
• Ability to work under own initiative
• Willingness to travel and deliver/assess courses internationally
• Strong command of the English language (written & spoken)
• Ability to communicate well with others
• This position is suited to a candidate residing in Aberdeen/shire.
