Well Performance Engineer

Our client, a major Oil & Gas Operator are currently recruiting for a Well Performance Engineer. Based in Aberdeen, the role is PAYE long term contract role and offers Hybrid working arrangements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible to ensure that all wells are operated at their optimum potential
• Responsible to detect any degradation of potential and help identify remediation solutions and propose action to increase potential
• Responsible to provide accurate well / fields / areas potentials
• Responsible to provide high-level of troubleshooting to support the Site
• Responsible to ensure that assigned well performance actions are closed out on time and as required
• Guarantee efficient transverse relationship between all operational entities involved in well production & productivity

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Petroleum Engineering or Reservoir Engineering or Well engineering
• Typically, 2-5 years’ experience: experience in well operations / well performance role and experience in a reservoir engineering role
• Demonstrate HSE commitment, Openness to change, ability to question and challenge current practices and innovate
• Software Knowledge: PI, Prosper, GAP, Olga, Excel, Wellview, OFM, NPDMS, IFM, IVM.
