Stores Person
Our client is seeking a Stores person on a staff permanent basis, due to expansion of their operations. Seeking a reliable, motivated and experienced Stores person to join their team, based in Aberdeenshire.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming parts, equipment, and materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our stock management system
- Pick, pack, and dispatch goods in line with work orders
- Liaise with workshop and field service teams to ensure timely availability of stock
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate reorders to avoid shortages or overstocking
- Uphold safety and cleanliness standards in the storeroom and loading areas
- Assist with delivery coordination and logistics where required
- Support periodic stocktakes and audits
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a stores or warehouse role, preferably in the agricultural, marine, industrial services or workshop.
- Familiarity with agricultural or marine parts and equipment is a strong advantage
- Basic computer skills; experience with inventory management software preferred
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Capable of manual handling
- Forklift licence preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
