Metering Technician

We are seeking experienced Metering Technicians to join a leading Independent Oil and Gas Operator. This is a core role within the operations team, offering a balanced 7/7 rotation. We are looking for candidates with significant experience of working with metering systems/equipment

Location: Barrow Terminals

Rotation: 7 days on / 7 days off

Contract: Initial 12-month contract (with annual extensions)

Employment Type: Agency Worker / PAYE

Overtime: Hourly overtime rate available

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrable experience in petrochemical process, operations or maintenance
• Knowledge of general Instrumentation including Metering and Fire & Gas systems through production/maintenance operations gained whilst working in the oil and gas or petrochemical industries
• Proficient on Windows & maintenance management programs.
• Onshore/Offshore maintenance experience highly desirable.

Mandatory Training to include:

• Ex Equipment in Hazardous Areas (CompEx EX01 – EX04)
• SBT01 Stage 1 Assemble and Install Small Bore Tubing Assemblies – Twin Ferrule
• MJI10 Stage 1 Initial Training – Hand Torque Bolted Connections
