Pressure Control Maintenance Technician
Our client is currently recruiting for a Pressure Control Maintenance Technician. Based in Aberdeen, the role is on a permanent (staff) basis.
ROLE
The Pressure Control Maintenance Technician is responsible for overall running for the pressure testing bay for all UK business lines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining Coiled Tubing/Wireline BOP’s and Coiled Tubing/Wireline Stuffing Boxes
- Pressure Testing pressure control equipment and treating hoses within Well Services.
- Performing shear / slip testing in line with Archer CT procedures and / or customer requirements.
- Ensure adequate spares and in stock and readily available.
- Assist with planning and coordination of 5-year major certification updates on PCE.
- Maintain and update necessary certification for pressure control across all UK business units.
- Input and adherence to business units’ quality plans in line with relevant industry standards.
- Lead safety culture with focus on the companies five core values in line with other workshop personnel.
- Following and updating maintenance procedures
- Ensure that preventative maintenance is carried out at the correct intervals.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and original build standards
- Supporting with any Workshop tasks as requested during quieter periods.
REQUIREMENTS
- Mechanical background and preferably experienced working on pressure control equipment
- Prior experience in maintenance operations or a similar role – no less than 3 years
