Lead Project Engineer - Modifications

Cammach have a new requirement for a Lead Project Engineer – Modifications to join a Major International Oil & Gas Operator in Aberdeen. This is a core role within the team, on a long-term basis. 

• Lucrative day rates, 34 days holidays and Hybrid working arrangements.

ROLE

The range and complexity of projects and modification to existing facilities necessitates a highly professional Lead Project Engineer to ensure that projects and major modifications are executed in a cost-effective and controlled manner, meeting all statutory and Company standards. The Lead Project Engineer is required to have a good understanding of asset integrity and major accident hazard management.

REQUIREMENTS

• 15 years of industry experience and demonstrates relevant project management skills, including technical expertise, planning, cost control, and contract administration.
• 10 years’ experience in project management / project Engineering. 
• A project management qualification or working towards same
• 5 years minimum experience within an Operator/Producer on brownfield modifications.
• Degree in a recognised Engineering discipline. Membership of relevant Professional Body (chartered engineer or equivalent) is desirable.
• An ability to organise own workload and set priorities in the context of a busy portfolio of modifications.
• Good understanding of offshore operations and project management.
• Good working knowledge of engineering disciplines, associated technical standards, processes and relevant legislation.
• Ability to create positive relations with peers and stakeholders internally and externally.
• Good supervisory, written and oral communication skills and the ability to present complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner.
