Manufacturing Engineer
Our client, a global energy company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to be based in their Aberdeen site. The successful candidate will lead, coordinate, and develop repair and manufacturing strategies to support both the refurbishment of Rental equipment, aftermarket equipment and new build solutions equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing job routings / work instructions to the workshop to ensure job execution is performed correctly, efficiently and safely.
- Providing technical support and guidance to the workshop in order to execute projects effectively and deliver to our customer.
- Monitoring manufacturing cycle times and propose improvements and action plans.
- Compiling Survey Reports and providing the repair methods required to facilitate refurbishment.
- Defining the correct test equipment to carry out work scopes.
- Leading by example to achieve highest HSE and Quality performance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align and support execution of deliverables while sharing lessons learned.
- Working closely with the shop floor to define and improve manufacturing tasks, such as lifting operations, testing, assembly / dis-assembly methods.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably aftermarket and repair solutions).
- Able to show good problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate professionally and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders / customers.
- Possess excellent written, reporting and presentation skills.
