Our client is currently looking to recruit a Marine Engineer / Field Service Engineer. The role will be on a permanent (staff) basis and will involve working in various shipyards around the UK.
Contract type: Staff position
Work scope: Carry out maintenance and repair of engines onboard various vessels located in Shipyard / Quayside around the UK.
Work location: successful candidate would work on employers clients’ vessel’s located in various UK shipyards. These would tend to be either fishing vessels, or work & Survey vessels and they could be located in various shipyards around the UK such as Orkney, Shetland, Fraserburgh, Peterhead. No offshore working required.
Requirements:
Candidates should have a background in mechanical Engineering and ideally hold 2 years + marine experience or experience with heavy goods / diesel engines or have an agricultural background. Candidates should also hold an interest in marine engineering.
