Senior Drilling Engineer

Our client an international Oil & Gas operator is currently recruiting for a Senior Drilling Engineer to be based in Aberdeen on a 2-year contract.

• 34 days accrued paid holiday per annum

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s (BSc) or Master’s (MSc) degree, or equivalent, in an appropriate engineering discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Offshore, or Petroleum Engineering).
• Considerable experience in a similar role as Senior Drilling / Well Engineer
• Experience in HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature) specialties such as WellCAT casing design and Managed Pressure Drilling is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to lead individuals and manage specific scopes of work.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly in drilling engineering software applications.
• Well-developed knowledge of contractual, legal, terms & conditions, and insurance matters.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality complex studies and projects with minimal supervision.
• Previous offshore supervisory experience is advantageous.
