Blaster

Cammach are currently recruiting for a Blaster on behalf of our client based in Aberdeen. The role will be on a permanent (staff) basis.

Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Salary: £33,419.00

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out Shot Blasting to agreed standard.
• Operate, clean, and maintain all blasting equipment including blast robot, blast pots, elevator and PPE.
• Carry out blasting inspection and ensure this is documented to agreed procedure.
• Maintain a safe work site.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong work ethic
• Knowledge on areas requiring masking/protection
• High attention to detail
• Understanding of the application of high performance coatings.
• Requires experience with all aspects of painting, surface preparation, finishing and maintenance of a wide variety of industrial structures.
• Basic understanding of coatings scope documents.
• Forklift License B2 (preferred but not essential)
• Proven track record in blasting & painting.
