Manufacturing Engineer

Cammach are currently recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer on behalf of our client based in Aberdeen. The role will be on a 12-month contract and the hours of work will be: Mon - Fri: 8 hrs/day. 40 hrs / week

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Identify inspection features associated with rental tooling – updating and creating ITPs in the process where required.
• Provide Survey dispositions and repair workscopes on completion of inspection to facilitate refurbishment.
• Providing technical support and guidance to the workshop in order to execute projects effectively and deliver to our customer.
• Monitoring manufacturing cycle times and propose improvements and action plans.
• Defining the correct test equipment to carry out work scopes and work closely with the tooling team to get these tools into maintenance.
• Leading by example to achieve highest HSE and Quality performance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align and support execution of deliverables while sharing lessons learned.
• Working closely with the shop floor to define and improve manufacturing tasks, such as lifting operations, testing, assembly / dis-assembly method
