Systems Accountant

Cammach are currently recruiting a Systems Accountant on behalf of our client, an independent oil & gas operator. The role will be on a 6-month contract and offers a hybrid working arrangement.

ROLE

Provide Masterdata support to the Corporate ERP systems, creating and maintaining system masterdata whilst ensuring data integrity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct SAP Support

• Ongoing support and maintenance of finance masterdata within SAP including, amongst others:
• Business partners
• GL accounts
• Profit centres
• JV equity groups

Cost Centres & WBS Elements

• Ensuring data integrity by employing and displaying robust process and controls
• Raising awareness of key cross-functional interdependencies of masterdata across systems and associated masterdata attributes
• Performing system functional integrity testing where appropriate
• Internal and external audit support as required

Other Activities

• Undertake Master data support role for Wintershall Dea systems
• Administrative support for regular user account and control reviews
• Administration for finance peripheral systems
• Any other reasonable duty as per instruction by your manager.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree qualified and with recognised accounting qualification ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
• Excellent accountant or qualified by experience with proven track record
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience of SAP masterdata is preferred
• Strong MS Office skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and adept at interacting with individuals at all levels in the organisation
• Focus on service delivery to business and functions
• Flexible and responsive to stakeholder requirements and changing environment
• Ability to deliver high quality work by deadlines and work effectively under time pressure
