Painter
Cammach are currently recruiting a Painter on behalf of our client based in Aberdeen. The role will be on a permanent (staff) basis and the hours of work are as follows: 40 hours week (8:00am – 4:30pm)
ROLE
- The Technical Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of technical and operational activities across projects.
- The role acts as a central link between Engineering, Operations, Workshop, and offshore teams, ensuring documentation, systems, and communications are accurate, controlled, and aligned with project and operational requirements.
- This position plays a key role in enabling safe, efficient, and compliant execution of work scopes by proactively managing information flow, technical documentation, operational readiness, and cross department coordination.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out Spray Painting to agreed standard.
- Perform all aspects of a coatings projects safely and efficiently.
- Understanding of different coating systems and required microns.
- Operate, clean and maintain all painting equipment, including paint robot, brushes, rollers, sprayers, mixing equipment, pumps and PPE.
- Carry out painting inspection and ensure this is documented to agreed procedure.
- Maintain a safe work site.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong work ethic
- Knowledge on areas requiring masking/protection
- High attention to detail
- Understanding of the application of high performance coatings.
- Requires experience with all aspects of painting, surface preparation, finishing and maintenance of a wide variety of industrial structures.
- Basic understanding of coatings scope documents.
- Forklift License B2 (preferred but not essential)
- Proven track record in blasting & painting.
