Onshore Chef
Our client, based in Aberdeen, is seeking a Chef to join their onshore team on a permanent staff basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Some of the duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Ordering of all provisions including dry goods.
- Preparing daily breakfast & lunch menus and cooking same.
- Costing new items coming onto menus.
- Checking deliveries, sorting problems as and when they arise.
- Arranging paperwork for Accounts Payable department.
- Ensuring the kitchen is clean and tidy at all times.
- Ensuring temperature logs are carried out and are up to date.
- Ensuring kitchen meets legal requirements for HSE & EHO.
- Ensuring all mandatory regulations are up to date and met.
- Advise Office Facilities Manager or Office Facilities Assistant of any faults or defects.
- Any other duties as required by the Office Facilities Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
- Commis chef, Sous-chef or higher.
- Food Hygiene Environment Certificate
- Demonstrates a personal commitment toa positive working environment.
- Organisational Qualities.
- Communication and Presentation Skills
- Personnel Management Skills
