Temporary Vacancy - Marine Engineer - Aberdeen Based
 
We have a Temporary Vacancy for Marine Engineer to join Bunker Barge operating across the ports of Aberdeen (North and South Harbours).  Candidate will be responsible for mechanical integrity and operational readiness of oil barge.  Must have thorough understanding of technical and regulatory demands of maintaining propulsion, power generation and cargo handling systems in a busy commercial port environment.
 
Start Date:Mid July
Working Monday to Friday
Duration:6 Months
 
Ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of marine engineering experience.  Must have strong practical knowledge of marine engines, systems and fault finding along with proven experience as senior officer on oil barges or similar vessels.
Must have all STCW Certificates in date and ENG1.
