HSEQ Superintendent

Our client is seeking an HSEQ Superintendent with seagoing / offshore vessel background to join their team in the Aberdeen office.

ROLE

Reporting to HSEQ Manager, the Marine HSEQ Superintendent has the authority to approve commitments as outlined by the PoA matrix and in line with approvals from the HSEQ Manager. Cooperate and interact with vessels, class, authorities, clients and industry marine assurance entities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensuring that company policies, standards and guidelines are developed, implemented and practiced.
• Supporting and monitoring the implementation, performance and effectiveness of the SMS and the company’s certificates and standards within the department.
• Participate in the Emergency Organization as described in the SMS
• Support the company´s HSEQ activities as directed by the HSEQ Manager

REQUIREMENTS

• Education level: 3-5 years of studies at college / university
• Working experience Minimum 10 years of total working experience
• Language requirements: Fluent in English, both orally and in writing
• General requirements: 
• Relevant experience from shipping, oil and gas or HSEQ department is preferrable
• Background within seagoing offshore vessel sector, DP experience and sufficient QHSE exposure is highly desirable
• Must reside within commuting distance to Aberdeen and hold Full UK Right to Work Status
