Cammach are currently supporting our client, a leading independent energy services company, delivering engineering, wells, operations, subsea, EPCC, and energy transition solutions across the full asset lifecycle. With a strong presence across the UK and internationally, they support major operators and deliver innovative projects throughout the energy sector.

As a result of continued growth, they are seeking an Electrical Support Engineer to join their team in Aberdeen on a permanent staff basis

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all electrical equipment is safely managed and maintained, with engineering and maintenance activities carried out in accordance with statutory regulations and Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards.
  • Monitor the integrity of electrical systems and equipment, recording their condition and providing an initial assessment of any associated risks.
  • Prioritise electrical repairs, maintenance, and inspection activities to support safe and reliable operations.
  • Review planned and corrective maintenance deferrals, ensuring any associated risks are appropriately managed.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on electrical engineering matters to ensure operational reliability and compliance.
  • Promote continuous improvement and support the safe, efficient operation of offshore assets.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven offshore electrical engineering experience within the energy industry in UKCS (essential)
  • Demonstrable experience in an Electrical Support Engineer or similar role within the energy sector.
  • Ideally Chartered Engineer (CEng) status through the Engineering Council UK, with accreditation from a recognised UK professional institution.
  • Valid OGUK Medical, MIST and BOSIET certificates are preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing competing priorities.
  • Strong leadership, coaching and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
  • A strong commitment to health, safety and environmental best practice.
