TRS (Tubular Running Services) Field Operators

Our client, a global oilfield services company, is currently seeking experienced TRS (Tubular Running Services) Field Operators to support operations on an ad-hoc basis from Aberdeen.

ROLE

The TRS Field Operator is responsible for the installation, repair, and routine servicing of TRS-related equipment both in the field and the shop. This hands-on role involves operating company equipment and systems, following detailed technical procedures, and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of services to our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform field operations for TRS equipment (Manual Handling Equipment, Power Equipment, Thread Monitoring Systems).
• Provide on-site support to the Field Supervisor, ensuring adherence to service quality standards and client expectations
• Ensure proper rig-up/rig-down of equipment following strict work instructions and safety protocols.
• Maintain or assist with accurate job records and complete detailed reports.
• Participate in daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and Job Hazard Analyses (JHA); report issues promptly using company reporting tools.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and presentable work environment at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, within the physical demands of the role.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience within Tubular Running Services (TRS)
• Proficiency in using TRS tools and equipment
• Experience with equipment calibration and maintenance procedures
• Strong knowledge of oilfield tubular products, including casing, tubing and drill pipe
• A strong commitment to HSE and safe offshore operations
