Warehouse Operative

Cammach are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on behalf of our client. This is a 6 month contract opportunity based in Aberdeen.

ROLE

The Warehouse & Yard Operator is responsible for supporting daily Warehouse and Yard operations, including receiving, storing, preserving, managing, and distributing inventory and equipment to internal and external customers. The role ensures accurate inventory control, safe material handling, and efficient warehouse operations while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence. The position reports to the WH&Y Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive, store, move, and ship inventory and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment within the Warehouse and Yard.
• Perform inventory counts, asset verification, and SAP transactions accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment while adhering to all HSE and quality requirements.
• Support Lean and 6S initiatives to optimise workflow and Warehouse efficiency.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Service Delivery, and Workshop teams to ensure on-time deliveries and shipments.
• Identify continuous improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer, communication, and mathematical skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate a forklift.
• Commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
