Transition of PAYE Agency Workers and Limited Company Contractors within a 24-Day Period
Background
An Oil & Gas Operator selected Cammach to support the transition a group of Agency Workers. These workers were previously supplied via another agent who was both no longer included on the Preferred Supplier List (PSL) and was due to close their company in the coming months.
We had a 24-day period to complete the transition, allowing for more in-depth communication and individual onsite meetings. Cammach was selected based on our existing relationship with the client, providing both recruitment and contractor management for ‘payrolled contractors,’ and the client’s confidence in Cammach’s ability to provide a comprehensive and considerate service to the transitioning workers while ensuring all client processes were followed.
Transition Process
- Initial Planning: Cammach held immediate meetings with the Oil & Gas Operator and contacted all transitioning workers to outline the transition strategy and timeline. With the timeframe being 24 days these meeting were held in person.
- Documentation: The Cammach team issued appropriate contractual documentation and detailed information to all transitioning workers. Individual onsite meetings were held, allowing for in-depth discussions on client working practices and future improvements, as well as being able to fully explain Cammach’s processed to ease any concerns wit the change on Agent.
- Execution: Our team ensured all Agency Workers were transitioned within the agreed timeframe of 24 days.
- Communication: Our dedicated Contractor Management team maintained continuous communication to address any concerns and provide support. Both on the telephone and email as well as face to face.
- Completion: The entire process was completed within the 24-day period, with subsequent and continuous follow-ups to ensure smooth integration.
Outcome
The transition was extremely efficient, with the Client expressing their satisfaction and the Transitioning Personnel voicing their contentment with the new arrangement.
